Where it all begins...the Glory hole!



Molten glass is gathered around a punty and rolled into a cylindrical shape.



Glass is then dropped onto another punty in preparation to stretch the glass into canes.



The Still molten glass is stretched . the diameter of the glass cane is set at this step. If the cane contains a twisted stripe, it is also in the step where the hot, pliable cane is twisted to give it shape and design.
